Our client the world largest suppliers of hydraulic equipment for commercial vehicles and offers a wide range of technical products and components, mainly used in connection with hydraulic loading and unloading systems on trucks and trailers for the road transportation industry in on- and off-road applications.

Warehouse Supervisor – The Rewards

  • Warehouse Supervisor – Overview

    In this role, the Warehouse Supervisor manages warehouse processes, from goods receipt to storing to material staging. Attention to detail to provide efficient and error-free processes is key to this position. The Warehouse Manager observes safety at work, quality requirements, timing and profitability, while providing professional and disciplinary guidance of the entire warehouse team.

    Warehouse Supervisor – Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise and control the entire warehousing process chain, including for external warehouses.
  • Execute staff planning for the department.
  • Proactively adapt staff and warehouse planning to fluctuations in capacity load;
  • Ensure proper goods receipt and incoming goods inspection as well as proper storing and timely material staging;
  • Ensure smooth coordination between the warehousing and assembly department.
  • Record incoming goods (and outgoing goods if required) and further storage operations in the ERP-system.
  • Monitor stocks, allowing for optimum stock turnover and optimum days inventory held (DIH);
  • Ensure efficient and effective application of warehouse resources;
  • Manage external warehouses;
  • Provide a safe work environment and implement and observe work safety and accident control instructions;
  • Implement and observe the plant’s quality standard/certificate instructions;
  • Develop continuous improvement measures in close coordination with adjoining departments;
  • Create and assess reports and logistic key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Responsible for organizing and performing inventories;
  • Assist warehouse employees in their everyday operations, including component allocation, storing, transportation of
  • components and finished products, unloading and other operations;
