Warehouse Manager required  Paying up to £32000 per annum   My client are an industrial Products Company who are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our fastpaced team.
This company prides itself on supporting a health life/work balance and all full time employees work 4 out of 7 days  8am 6pm or 10am 8pm My client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our fastpaced Manufacturing, Distribution and Industrial Products company.
The ideal warehouse manager  will be expected to be hands on, managing a team up to 10 Warehouse Operatives, primarily ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and goods out whilst maintaining a safe, clean and practical working environment in the warehouse.
Our product range varies in shape, size and weight so it is vital the candidate is comfortable with lifting weights of 30kg+ throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include
Team Leader  Daytoday supervision of Warehouse Operatives to ensure that Health & Safety Protocols are implemented and followed.
Order fulfilment  Adhere to company standards and lead time expectation when fulfilling customer orders.
Stock Rotation  Efficiently store and rotate stock to flow new vs old goods, effectively through dispatch.
Grounds Maintenance  To coordinate upkeep of premises grounds.
Training  Carry out on the job training as required and identify training opportunities for Warehouse Operatives.
Stock Take  To carry out an effective annual stock take.
Management Reviews  To conduct quarterly reviews of Warehouse Operatives.
Refuse  Ensure suitable waste disposal measures are in place and enforced through Warehousing.
Quality Control  To carry out Quality Control measures and accurately upkeep logs.
Couriers  To ensure all Couriers and Hauliers are loaded with appropriate freight and that consignments are correctly booked out through the Warehouse Management System WMS.
The warehouse manager  will be expected to attend management meetings and make constructive contributions.
Knowledge and understanding of WMS is desired
with proficiency in Supplier, Purchase Order, Sales Order, Sales Invoice, Stock and CRM Manager and Reports.
The warehouse manager will receive relevant training but experience in Management and Warehousing is essential.
The company operates a 4 day working week and as such, the Warehouse Manager will be required to work across Monday Sunday, with shift patterns of either 8am 6pm / 10am 8pm.
