TRAINEE NEGOTIATOR 

As the Trainee Negotiator you will be working in a team of negotiators/property consultants dealing with enquiries from motivated vendors that you determine would like an offer for the sale of their property, with a view to get them on board with our services and ultimately purchasing it below market value (BMV). Specifically, with regard to customer satisfaction, you will look after the vendors in terms of their requirements, needs and with a professional, quality approach that sets us apart from our competitors. You will be responsible for responding immediately to customer questions and notifying relevant parties about any issues with the property. Staying on top of all client cases and coordinating with other departments is essential in this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attempt to contact leads on inhouse systems that have been in the system.
  • Leads should be called, emailed, or sent an SMS to establish communication.
  • Gain comprehensive information from the vendor.
  • Complete inhouse lead forms and notify the customer they will be contacted.
  • Ability to establish a relationship with potential customers.
  • Maintaining contact with potential clients and gaining updates on their current situation.
  • Maintaining client files and general administration.
  • Manage incoming enquiries within lead database.
  • Researching market value of properties nationwide.
  • Gathering information on the property in order to propose a sensible offer.
  • All offers will be signed off by the line manager before putting them forward to the client.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Continuous communication with vendors to retain their expectations and update with the progression of the purchase.

KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport.
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to overcome objections.
  • Computer literate
  • Proactive 
  • Basic knowledge of the property market essential
