The Temporary Assistant Stock Analyst will assist the Stock Analyst with the collation of accurate stock data, and continuing to maintain stock integrity.

Our client is looking for a Temporary Assistant Stock Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis to begin with but with a potential for the vacancy to become permanent.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Temporary Assistant Stock Analyst role include but are not limited to:

  • Reconciling & investigating stock movements and understanding the drivers of stock losses
  • Reconciling movements of stock from Trade Counter to Distribution Centres & highlight any monthly issues.
  • Preparing month end stock reconciliations and liaising with external auditors
  • Preparing daily stock valuation reports, and weekly category reporting data
  • Communicating effectively with the Loss Prevention team, Stock Controllers, Managers, Trade Counters and fulfilment centres to gain information
  • Updating and maintaining imported and domestic cost models

Profile

The successful candidate to the Temporary Assistant Stock Analyst will have:

  • Experience of performing reconciliations for stock and financial accounts, handling large volumes of data is essential
  • Must have an investigative and enquiring nature
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel are essential (e.g. manipulating data, data sorts, pivot tables, lookups etc.)
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet pressured deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and follow through to conclusion
  • Must live within a commutable distance to their offices
