We are now looking for a Technical Design Team Leader to join our dedicated team on a permanent, fulltime basis.

The RoleAs the Technical Design Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the creation of simple and clear technical designs for client, joiners and fitting teams.
Managing and motivating the design team, you will provide continuous development opportunities for team members to enhance the flow and quality of drawings.
The aim of your role will be to improve design quality, deliver 100% of design on schedule and ensure communication levels are maintained.
Your role will also involve
Planning the output of the design team Working as part of the management team sharing ideas and thoughts Providing the best possible quality construction detailing to the manufacturing team.
Working with the Finance department to set and maintain budgets for the departmentAbout YouTo be considered as the Technical Design Team Leader, you will need
Successful proven experience within a similar role, overseeing team designing for projects worth in excess of £1m Experience creating and managing departmental budgets Specific experience using SolidWorks An understanding of Joinery techniques and timescalesOther organisations may call this role Design Team Lead, Design Team Manager, Design Manager, Joinery Design Manager, Senior Designer, Design Team Supervisor, or Technical Design Manager.
