Standards and Policy Manager (Non-care)

MHA are recruiting for the role of Standards and Policy Manager (non care), reporting to the Head of Standards and Policy and working as part of our highly skilled, but friendly Governance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to help shape the leadership and delivery of all our services across MHA and really make a difference in the lives of the people we support.

The role is offered on a permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, based in Derby city centre, with the ability to work flexibly through a balance of home and office working.

About the Role

You will support the Head of Standards and Policy to ensure that MHA has a full suite of policies and standards that work together to enable the organisation to deliver its services to the highest standards. You will have particular responsibility for all non care related policies across the organisation, ensuring that they are reviewed regularly and reflect all current Government, Regulatory and Legal requirements.

About You

You will have significant experience of researching and drafting policies and experience in the Health and Care sector would be desirable. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to understand governance and how it influences and impacts policy development. You will be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as working well as part of a team.

It is also important that you share our values and as a leader in the organisation you will be a role model to others.
