Post Title:  Solicitor
Location:   Council Headquarters, Inverness
Hours:        35 hours per week
Duration:   Fixed Term to 31/03/2024
Salary:       £41,477- £45,354 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:  To be a member of the team at HQ responsible for the Council’s Legal Services work relating to litigation and advice.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Membership of the Law Society of Scotland and a current practising certificate

  • Experience of legal practice, preferably in a local authority or other public service context, with knowledge of litigation and advocacy.
