With that in mind, the responsibility of working as a Service Desk Analyst plays a huge part in a business’s success.
By providing first line support to staff and customers, you’re the sole advisor and first point of contact when it comes to solving problems.
You’ve worked with an ICT team before to ensure data and incidents are logged correctly so that everyone is on the ball.
You are special.
Without you, there is no resolution to internal/external issues, nobody to chase up complaints and manage tickets, which would be catastrophic on the customer facing side of the business.
Your efforts do not go unnoticed, even if it might feel that way sometimes.

I’m looking for a Service Desk Analyst that can oversee and manage customer enquiries effectively and in a polite manner.
Maintenance also includes ensuring the service desk in staffed during support hours, by communicating well with your colleagues to maintain cover as required.
You’ll be logging, troubleshooting & resolving IT support issues raised by users, so your problemsolving skills need to be on point.
Account maintenance is also a part of your game, creating accounts for new users, or deleting old ones.
Your knowledge of hardware will be tested, as it is your responsibility to set up equipment in the office, or help your colleagues set up their hardware when working from home.
Equally, this requires good communication skills.
It would be of great advantage to you if you have experience with Apple devices.
Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, Twingate and any experience with Service Desk tools.
Lastly, if you’re a master of Microsoft 365, or Windows 10, it’ll help when supporting user devices.
The salary is Circa £27K depending on experience, with plenty of benefits to help you balance both your work and lifestyle.
