Salary – £45 – £50K

My client is a dynamic start-up that operates globally and primarily remotely with colleagues based in the UK, EU and Asia.

The primary focus of the client is to enable maritime and CNI asset operators to gain visibility, cybersecurity, and compliance of systems on their distributed, remote assets.

The current team is 30 (plus) people strong and ever growing. They are expecting a significant growth phase in 2022 and beyond.

They are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the clients distributed vessels infrastructure that enables them to deliver the cybersecurity service to end clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an IT infrastructure background who is looking to take the next step in their career to build and structure a global team.

Service Delivery Manager Specification:

  • Service Delivery Manager (Vessel Platforms) No Maritime experience is needed but you must have a true desire to learn about the industry.
  • Reports To Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
  • Location is initially Remote, with occasional days at clients offices in London
  • Maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the on-vessel infrastructure they rely on to deliver service and to plan the growth and evolution of this to keep up with the business as their needs change.
  • Ensure they have a fit for purpose platform to deliver their Cybersecurity Service.
  • You will work with the Product Development, Engineering, Security Operations Centre and Customer Success teams to understand the Platform Service Level Agreements that are required.
  • Maintain a forward-looking view to predict and plan for future growth and platform requirement changes.
  • Provide input into the product design process with regards to the non-functional requirements to ensure the vessel platform is enhanced and developed in the appropriate manner.
  • Ensuring the Service Delivery Team is correctly set up for success.
  • Identifying and eliminating any skill or capability gaps the Service Delivery Team.
  • Ensuring there is an accurate vessel platform operation manual that defines the task the service delivery team undertake.
  • Ensuring our working practices reflect what is understood to be industry best practice.
