Overview

We have big goals over the next few years.

We’re going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.

Together we’ll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

Will you join us?

The Data Insight team is passionate about harnessing the power of data to understand our supporters and customers better and generate actionable insights. We aim to empower teams across Mind, offering our expertise but also giving them the tools and resources to discover and act on insights themselves. We value curiosity and continuous learning and relish a data challenge!

We are embarking on a new team strategy, and this brand new role will broaden and deepen our remit and accountabilities. Your brief will be to develop and share a rich and coherent understanding of Mind’s audiences as well as clarity around our position in the market, through sector benchmarking and intelligence.

You will be involved in each stage of the research and analysis process, commissioning and carrying out insight projects, exploring and analysing data, identifying gaps in our knowledge and sharing your specialist knowledge and insights with teams across the organisation.

You will also work as part of a cross-organisational project team delivering our new audience strategy, helping to successfully communicate and embed the research into our organisational culture and ways of working.

We are looking for candidates with a combination of research, data and analysis skills, an ability to master complexity and co-ordinate their work, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Closing date: 7th February 2022

Mind reserve the right to close the vacancy to applications earlier, should we receive a high volume of strong candidates – therefore we encourage an early application.

This position will initially, in line with current and potentially future guidance, be based from home. Post lockdown this role will retain some flexibility but post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days thereafter (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team).

Mind is committed to equality of opportunity for all staff, and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and marriage and civil partnerships.

Please refer to the Job Description while completing your application as candidates will be shortlisted based on how closely they match the criteria.

The Data Insight team is passionate about harnessing the power of data to understand our supporters and customers better and generate actionable insights.
