We have an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate who is passionate about patient care and has proficient in working with computers and technology. This role will support the Neurosurgery pre assessment team by providing hands on care for patients, by undertaking pre-operative tests and admin duties for the pre assessment clinic. The applicant must be flexible and understand that daily the needs of the role will differ.
You will be part of a dedicated team who work hard to ensure patients receive high quality customer experience when they attend the clinic. You will be the first face patients see in the pre assessment clinic and will be expected to provide a courteous reception service to patients and clinicians, work closely with nursing and medical staff, manage the booking of designated follow up appointments and work effectively as part of the team.
The role involves shift work including early shifts, late shifts, long days, nights and weekends so ability to work these shifts on a rota basis is essential.
