SEMH Teacher
Teacher required to teach small classes of students at this vibrant local Alternative Provision. We are looking for a QTS teacher who has experience teaching within an Alternative Provision, SEMH or PRU setting. Ideally you will be a Mathematics, English, or Science specialist, or have experience covering one of these subjects.

This fantastic school are recognised for their ability to get students reengaged in education, and ability to improve attendance and progression. As a Teacher you will be supported in class by a minimum of one experienced Teaching Assistants, allowing you to focus on teaching rather than managing behaviour. A calming classroom presence, abundance of resilience and the ability to think outside the box is essential for this role.

Job Role:

  • Teaching small classes of students who no longer attend mainstream school
  • Ensuring that lessons are tailored to meet the needs of the children that you support
  • Working closely with the support staff to make sure no child is left behind
  • Make learning interesting for students and help them to achieve the best they can
