Roles: Sales Account Manager

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 basic plus commission OTE £28,000

Hours: Monday to Friday full time

We are working on behalf of our client who is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to be responsible for the continued growth and success of this award-winning and market leading business. This exciting role offers an amazing desk-based opportunity for an ambitious and sales driven professional to have the freedom to generate business nationally. Following the success this year at industry awards it will be a warm sales introducing the business service to prospective clients, as well as recognising opportunities to maximise their current customer base by upselling services.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and growing active and prospect customer base through proactive upselling of products and services
  • Identify business opportunities with new prospect customers and offer a creative solution to secure the business
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with active and prospect customers to increase future sales opportunities through effective account management
  • Support Key Account Managers in securing further business from active customers
  • Work towards targets and KPI’s to ensure profitable growth

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven work history working in delivering results in a similar Sales Account Manager or BDM position is essential
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills essential
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment essential
  • Confident, engaging, passionate and a natural negotiator
  • Experience in selling a contract service is desirable
  • Ability to build long lasting customer relations
  • Customer focused mindset
