The client is a well know city law firm looking to strengthen their in house team by hiring a risk and compliance lawyer.
They are a full service practice with an established risk team that caters to the firms compliance and regulatory matters.
Description
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- dealing with a range of compliance queries from the firm
- interpretation and application of SRA code of conduct
- managing internal risk assessments
- advising on client terms and working collaboratively with team mates
- being the point of contact for other teams internally, dealing with conflicts, AML and other issues
Profile
The successful risk and compliance lawyer will have worked in a similar position at another law firm.
