Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit two research assistants to support the evaluation of their Veteran Mental Health and Wellbeing Services overseen by University College London.

The job will involve collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative data to inform the evaluation of the service.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to develop their research skills and work within a clinical environment. The successful applicants will have post graduate experience of research and have good organisational skills. Familiarity and understanding of military culture will be an advantage.

The work will include:

  • Assisting with the collecting and analysis of service data including demographic variables, clinical outcome measures, social measures, family and friends feedback forms and discharge feedback forms in addition to key performance indicators.
  • Assisting with qualitative interviews to capture service user, staff and family and carer experiences of the services.
  • Analysis of stakeholder feedback (eg. Charity, MOD, NHS) utilising qualitative and quantitative methods.
