Overview
A global designer and retailer have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join their team on a 6-month temporary basis, starting on the 2nd February 2022!
THE ROLE:
Running the office reception and being the first point of contact for visitors, greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive, and directing them to the host in a timely manner
Ensuring the reception area and office communal area is tidy and presentable
Maintaining the upkeep of in-house facilities and all stationery, kitchen supplies, and restroom consumables, keeping an inventory of stock
Escalating issues with any equipment and facilities in the office to the IT team or Maintenance team and monitoring the status until it is solved
Receiving incoming post/deliveries and distributing accordingly, and supporting courier arrangements as required
Arranging building access and passes for employees and visitors
Ensuring all staff members are adhering to office rules
Liaising with cleaners for office cleaning
Sending out internal communication within the office for any office related notices
Creating cost comparison sheets of purchasing goods
Generating internal weekly reports
Adding and deleting User profiles on the internal Travel booking portal
Supporting arranging business travel booking for employees as required
Arranging pre-handover with a holiday cover beforehand
ESSENTIALS:
At least six months of Reception experience
Articulate and excellent communication skills
Reliable and eager to learn
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and suites, especially Excel
Good working knowledge of G – Suite products
Professional attitude and appearance
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
Strong work ethic, with a high sense of organisation and attention to detail
