QA Test Engineer (Manual Testing Games) *Hybrid WfH*. Do you have a love of video games coupled with manual QA testing skills? You could be joining an AAA video games company and creating games played by millions worldwide.
As a QA Test Engineer you will collaborate with software engineers to support them with testing of new features and help provide reliable stable builds on a daily basis. You will execute regression tests to validate that changes do not adversely affect player experience, methodically replicate bugs and liaise with the development team, assisting with bug fixing and the creation of test plans and scripts for manual execution.
With no previous games development experience necessary this is a great opportunity to try something new and develop your career.
There’s a remote interview process; following this you’ll join the team in the Guildford games studio, with flexibility to work from home one day a week.
Requirements:
*You have manual / functional testing experience
*You have a passion for gaming, ideally with previous games testing experience although this isn’t necessary if you have a strong personal interest and passion to develop your career in games testing
*You’re collaborative with great communication skills
*Any experience with defect tracking tools, smoke / regression testing, Unreal Engine would be of benefit but not essential
As a QA Test Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £45k) plus benefits.
