About the Role:

We are launching in the UK in February 2022 and we’re seeking rockstar psychologists, therapists and counsellors to join our founding team, working with our UK clients (members).

This is a great opportunity to join an energetic, passionate team looking to create impact in the mental healthcare and wellbeing space.

The opportunity allows therapists to work flexible hours remotely, on top of existing roles. At this stage we are looking for therapists to join us on a self-employed basis, but we’re still interested in hearing from you if you’re looking for something full time and find a good fit with our mission.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Collaborate with our team of therapists to develop content and new approaches for our courses, building on members’ feedback
  • Facilitate virtual group sessions each week for our members to help them improve their mental health, learn skills and reach goals
  • Come up with new ideas for running sessions based on topics and issues most demanded by our members
  • Host live sessions and talks related to mental health and wellbeing, such as mindfulness, managing anxiety, romantic relationships, burnout
  • Help us grow in ways that match your strengths and interests, e.g., speaking opportunities, blog posts, podcasts

Who you are:

  • You are passionate about helping people improve their mental health
  • You want to try innovative ways of delivering therapy and are excited to contribute to a business that helps the wider public gain more access to the benefits of therapy
  • You have experience and strong skills related to group facilitation and/or teaching and/or public presentations
  • You are a clear communicator and can explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • You are comfortable working in a telehealth environment and navigating multiple systems as you document notes
  • You are comfortable using Zoom and other video conferencing tools
  • You have strong time management skills

Requirements

  • Qualified clinical, counselling or health psychologist registered with the BPS or HCPC, a councellor or therapist registered with the BABCP, BACP or UKCP
  • Registered with another UK recognised body not listed above (please specify)
  • Have at least 1 year of experience with one of the following evidence-based modalities:
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy
  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
  • Counselling for depression
  • Couples therapy
  • A laptop, good wifi, and a quiet, professional space to join calls from
  • Can provide a professional reference i.e. your current supervisor or manager
  • Can offer a minimum of 3 hours per week

Bonus Points

  • You are entrepreneurial and have past experience or an appetite to work in a start-up environment
