The key responsibilities for the Project Officer Band 7 role are:
- The role is a key part of the Programme Team to drive transformational change for service delivery in S.E. London so that we better join up care and support, improve people’s health and well-being and close the inequalities gap
- The post holder will play a key role in building working relationships and collaboration between partners and wider stakeholders within the local system and communities
- Working with key stakeholders and clinical and professional leads to identify and respond to the needs and priorities for populations through quantitative and qualitative intelligence
Profile
The successful candidate for the Project Officer Band 7 role will have and be able to demonstrate:
Experience:
- Educated to degree level in relevant subject, or relevant experience, or project management qualification such as Prince 2
- Experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
- Experience of managing risks and reporting
- Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence for a senior audience
- Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
- Experience in a Health and/or care environment
- Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures
Skills:
- Knowledge of Financial Systems e.g. monitoring budget management, processing invoices and procurement
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools
- Ability to prepare and produce concise communications for dissemination to a broad range of stakeholders
- Ability to analyse very complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources
- Numerate and able to understand complex financial issues combined with deep analytical skills
