Product Category Manager

Remote – UK Based

up to £60,000 pa

This role, joining a major international organisation, is working within the European Department and can be based anywhere in the UK. A knowledge of the NHS buying process is essential

The role of Product Category Manager includes:-

  • Sales and market share analysis to identify under performing categories and developing plans and programs to drive sales and market share
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, particularly the Top 20, to develop better contracts, product exclusivity and to increase market share
  • Identify new products, and to liaise with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure all necessary information is obtained, determine pricing, forecasting, order process etc
  • Being aware and understanding business trends, and making decisions to support the overall strategy

To be considered for the role of Product Category Manager, candidates should have:-

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – European languages an advantage
  • Presentation and negotiation skills, as well as planning and organisation skills
  • Analogical skills, with independent decision making and problem solving skills
  • A Degree or work experience as a Category / Product Management or Procurement
