My client are looking for a Process Engineer with experience of time study and proven track record of improving processes, efficiency and cost savings. The Role:

Evaluate and recommend new process technologies that optimize performance, are cost effective, and will improve product quality and manufacturing processes and to improve product/process quality, consistency, productivity and efficiency.
Lead cross functional teams on productivity/continuous improvement activities.
Support the installation of new equipment, establishing new processes, creating and rolling out SOPs.
Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools, providing mentoring and training to the production teams.
Work proactively with the maintenance team to identify and implement a TPM approach to Preventive Maintenance.
Coach the Production team on Lean Manufacturing techniques and tools such as; 5S, 5Whys, Value Added Work, Value Stream Mapping.

Experience:

Degree Qualified Process Engineer
Experience of working within the Automotive sector is advantageous
Experience of supporting the installation of new equipment and establishing new processes.
Experience of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Able to influence at all levels of the business.
Able to lead cross functional teams.
Hands-on approach with a natural curiosity and desire to spot opportunities and drive change.
Experience of working with LEAN manufacturing principles.
Experience of Time Study Process.
Proven results in implementing new ideas that revolutionise old, standard methods.
Self-starter and team-oriented.
Strong communication skills.
