Principal Civil Engineer Drainage job based in Basingstoke Your new company You will be working for a design consultancy that specialise in providing transport, highways, flood risk and infrastructure design support to the development industry.
You will be part of an organisation that prides itself on its ability to provide top quality advice and design to a number of clients across the UK.
Your new role You will provide technical leadership and guidance to a team in the delivery of a range of projects, involving highways, civil, drainage and flood, and alleviation schemes.
You will be ensuring the accurate and efficient project delivery for external clients and will build and maintain relationships with clients existing and new clients.
You will manage junior colleagues and assist with their training and technical development.
What you’ll need to succeed To succeed in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and be competent in using the latest design software such as Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
You will have experience working on a range of projects and will be comfortable writing flood risk assessments and sustainable urban drainage strategies.
