3 Days at Home, 2 Days at Office in Victoria, Central London

Basic Salary £26,000 plus benefits including Pension, 25 Days Holiday and Life Assurance 3 x the salary

My client a reputable and established membership body in the engineering sector is currently recruiting for a Membership and Webinar Advisor.

Role

Assist the Membership & Registration Manager to manage the professional development of members and accreditation of courses.

Coordinate professional registration and all other activity with the Engineering Council

To assist the regional groups by providing administrative support.

To ensure effective communications with members

To coordinate and source content for the webinar program.

Source speakers for webinars

Organise social media for membership – LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc.

Duties

To promote membership

To manage membership through CRM procedures

To deal with member enquiries and payments

To assist with reporting

To deal with membership recruitment and campaigns

To attend regional group meetings when required

To liaise with regional groups and provide administrative support

To promote registration to members

To deal with registration enquiries

To acknowledge receipt of applications

To prepare registration schedules, update membership database

To keep the engineering council informed of changes

To post list of registrants for approval by Councils

To facilitate interviews and other meetings

The Person

Membership organisation, marketing or event promotion experience would be advantageous.

Good working with social media and organising digital events or webinars is important

Skilled at word processing and other IT applications including Microsoft Dynamics, Mail Merge, Excel spreadsheets, e-mail and databases. Good administrative and organisational skills and attention to detail.

Good communication, interpersonal and presentational skills. Numerate with a good standard of literacy Ability to use own initiative, work well as part of a wider team and with Society volunteers.

Friendly disposition, good telephone manner. Able to work on own initiative, with a mature approach and proven attributes of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality. Flexible and able to work with staff and volunteers as part of a team
