Are you passionate about science and global health with a desire to make contributions that access to quality healthcare for patient populations in low and middleincome country markets? We are seeking a Marketing Manager to coordinate marketing initiatives inclusive of Thermo Fisher Scientific offerings of relevance to the Global Health Equity GHE mission.
The successful candidate will serve as a member of the core GHE team, responsible for leading key marketing programs in invitro diagnostic IVD testing, establishing the implementation plan for core GHE marketing collateral and activities supporting our clinical offerings, and executingtoplan by using crossfunctional teams.
What you will do
Develop marketing plans for areas of responsibility, including customer segmentation, competitor analysis, business trends, market opportunities, and staging and pacing of marketing programs Apply knowledge of clinical market and associated customers to identify target customer segments and build value propositions and messages for each segment Develop and implement engaging marketing campaigns to generate awareness and drive demand
achieve results for initiatives and new and/or existing products Collaborate and ensure alignment of marketing plans in support of GHE strategic direction, pulling from Product Management, Regional Market Development Partners, GHE Commercial Leaders, and other partners Successfully engage and coordinate with marketing program managers to deliver highquality assets, including, but not limited to, content for print and digital collateral, PR, social media, presentations, global tradeshow properties and materials Maintain campaign metrics dashboards to measure the efficiency of GHE marketing activities Propose and complete customer and market research programs to provide key market insights and practical business outcomes Maintain knowledge of the trends in global health programs and focus infectious and noncommunicable disease areas Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our multibrand strategy in all aspects of GHE marketing programs Partner with varying levels of internal and external personnel including direct customer communication, KOL engagement and management, and public presentationHow you will get here
Education
Bachelor of Science required advanced degree preferred, preferably in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or other life sciences discipline A degree in Marketing, Communications or Business, with previous work experience in clinical, medical devices, or pharmaceutical industry is also acceptableExperience
5+ years of validated handson experience in marketing roles of growing scope and responsibility in genomics, molecular biology, or molecular diagnostic sectors.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentations to senior leadership and large audiences Exceptional skill in leading complex marketing projects with a strong attention to detail Offer ability to manage project scope, budget and schedule to achieve timely completion of project objectives.
Preferred Skills
Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Functional fluency in French or Spanish a plus Familiarity of global health funder community, i.
