Logistics Coordinator up to £25,000Grafton recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic growing logistics organisation in Hull.
Ideally you will have a previous experience working in international shipping / logistics and be highly organised with good attention to detail.

The Role
Liaise with freight agents and courier companies for quotes, queries and issues relating to the movement of shipmentsObtain and compare quotes to ensure the best serve level and competitive rates are achieved Correctly classify goods and apply correct customs procedure codes on consignmentsMaintain HMRC records Generation of all shipping documentation ensuring that rules and regulations are adhered to and followed Monitor shipments to ensure on time delivery is achieved Keep import log up to date Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis to keep the orders schedule up to date with current status Keep up to date with customs control regimes Check shipping invoices received are correct for paymentCoordinate all supplier/direct deliveries on a daily basisMonitoring and controlling weekly budget intake targets, highlighting any issuesDeliver a consistently high level of service to suppliers and key stakeholders accommodating changing demands Respond and resolve any delivery queries within agreed timescales i.

Skills Required
Shipping and logistics experience Knowledge of the international sea freight and airfreight processes, Incoterms and shipping/commercial documentation.
Intermediate Excel skills e.

High level of accuracy with work and excellent attention to detail when checking documents.
