Legal Secretary – Edinburgh – Salary 21,500 – 26,500 p/a DOE

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a new opportunity? Do you have experience within Litigation? Do you want to join a progressive legal firm in Edinburgh?

We are looking to speak to Legal Secretaries who have experience in Litigation (preferred) for a new opportunity in Edinburgh. In this role you will be responsible for working with solicitors and paralegals to provide support with document preparation for clients and for court proceedings. Ideally, you will be a confident communicator, organised and experienced within this field.

This role is available on a Full-Time or Part-Time basis, offering both flexible and hybrid working. There is a salary available of between 21,500 – 26,500 p/a DOE

Are you who we are looking for?

• You are an experienced Legal Secretary, Litigation is preferred but not essential
• You are an organised individual able to manage time effectively
• You are a confident communicator
• You have experience utilising case management systems daily
• You enjoy building key internal and external relationships
• You are able to work to your own initiative
• You have strong administration and document production experience

What is the day to day like?

• Transcribing dictation from a digital system
• Producing accurate, timely and professional documentation
• Scanning, allocating, filing, photocopying and archiving paperwork
• Managing files on the internal case management system
• Handling inbound calls into various departments
• Liaising with clients and professional contacts daily
• Supporting solicitors with diary management and organising meetings when required
• Assisting secretarial staff across all sites, either in person or remotely as required
• Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with GDPR
• Completing any other duties as requested
