Reed Business Support are delighted to be working with a market leading company who are looking to recruit a new Legal Secretary/Administrator to join their busy team due to expansion. If you have experience within the Legal Sector and a passion for providing excellent service or have strong secretarial experience working within a busy and fast paced firm, this is a great opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full administration service to the department as part of a professional business support team.

The successful candidate will be supported and working closely with a well-established and highly capable team who are looking for additional administration support.

The role will be full time, Monday – Friday 9.00 – 17.00 and will be remote working with the view of changing to hybrid working in the future

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the administrative elements for the opening of new clients including client Load up forms, Letters of engagement, terms of Business and AML
  • Carrying out financial administration tasks associated with client transactions
  • Producing supports and client information via case management systems
  • Requesting and preparing order searches from registers of Scotland and completing registration forms and LBTT returns
  • Producing accurately typed and formatted documentation including letters, faxes, reports, articles, presentations and specialist forms and documents all in accordance with the firm’s format and policies
  • Coordinating and arranging travel requirements as and when required
  • Responsible for File and diary management
  • Assisting and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the department

What we are looking for:

  • Experience within the Legal sector or a similar role within the Professional services industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Strong Microsoft and Excel skills
  • Motivated individual with a professional manner
  • Knowledge of AML processes would be beneficial but not essential
  • Great attention to detail
  • Friendly approach and a team player

Salary – up to 26,000.00 DEO
