Our Leasehold & Right to Buy Services (LRTBS) is changing to enable the team to fully meet evolving customer needs including the delivery of 1,800 new leasehold homes across the borough. This is an exciting and challenging time for the team to extend its knowledge and skills and provide customers with excellent service. It is also an ideal time for you to join us.

We are looking for well organised officers with good attention to detail to help the team to effectively deal with a range of customer enquiries. With housing in London under extreme pressure, maximising our income is an important way of improving services.

Your excellent administrative and IT skills will enable you to provide the team with comprehensive support including, making payment arrangements, replying to customer correspondence and ensuring the accurate and timely update of accounts in accordance with legal requirements, i.e. Deeds, Alterations, Certificate of Compliance and Probate.

Your excellent organisational skills will help the team maximise income through the effective recovery of service charges, major works, reserve fund contributions,and rent.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a fast paced and/or customer service environment with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise their workload.

We need people with strong customer services and prioritisation skills to provide an excellent service to London Borough of Hackney’s leaseholders, shared owners and freeholders across the borough. To thrive in this role you will need a flexible approach and be able to work well under pressure.
