As an Intern working at Improbable we expect you to build flexible services and tooling which allows Improbable to rapidly scale whilst delivering a seamless experience to our customers.
The Engineering team in Defence is responsible for contributing to our multiyear mission and goal
combining our distributed compute technology, massive scale simulations, advanced probabilistic modelling and AI to help selected governments meet the threats they face.

If you’re a student in your penultimate year of study, you could join us on a 36 month paid internship across one of our engineering streams and have the chance to progress onto our graduate programme.

Relevant degree or equivalentExtracurricular activity and/or internships in a software environment.
A passion for defence, gaming, simulation or distributed systemsKnowledge of programming languages such as C++, Go, Python, Java, Javascript, Typescript etcAppreciation for productive software engineering including Testing, Tooling, IDE mastery etcAlgorithmic and data structures knowledgePlease note due to the nature of this role you may be expected to meet requirements associated with obtaining UK security vetting clearanceNB
