We are recruiting for a Covert Archive Assistant of Guildford, Surrey.

The role includes reviewing electronic and paper archives establishing the crime types, identifying whether detected or not and if detected the outcome. You will apply the Management of Police Information (MoPI) retention time parameters based on the foregoing information and recommending the record for Retention or Deletion

Key skills

  • Will have a good understanding of MoPI and Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA 1996).
  • Will have previous experience of in working in a Covert Authorities, Telecommunications Liaison or Source Handling role within a policing environment.

This temporary role is for an initial 3 – 6 months, working full-time paying an initial £11.75 per hour PAYE.
