Overview
Information Governance SME Manager NHS As an Information Governance Subject Matter Expert SME Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of an information governance assurance model, the development and delivery of standardised tools, operational support and advice to a number of designated stakeholder to the standard required by the relevant contract or service level agreement.
To develop, lead and coordinate a program of evidence gathering, assessment and audit, this includes the management of assurance, evidence and audit of significant providers of services.
This comprises the escalation of issues of quality, risk and management through the appropriate channels and in conjunction with the Information Governance Lead.
This role supports compliance with the following legislation
General Data Protection Regulation GDPR EU
The Data Protection Act 2018
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 FOIA
Environmental Information Regulations 2004 EIR
and, Reuse of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015 RPSIR.
