We are looking to recruit an Information and Assurance Security Team Leader in our Information and Workplace Solutions IWS team, which sits within our Corporate Centre Group CCG.
The Corporate Centre Group is responsible for providing a wide range of corporate services to enable people at HM Treasury, and many of the other organisations who form part of the Treasury Group, to operate effectively and efficiently.
IWS is a team of around 40, responsible for the Treasury’s technology, security and knowledge and information management services.
What you will bring to the team
This role would suit someone who has a consistent track record of managing services and people, with a drive to lead and empower a team that provides critical services.
Being proactive in supporting colleagues across the wider business will also be key.
As well as providing a key service and playing an active role in making the team a great place to work
key responsibilities will include
Driving organisational alignment to security standards and policies.
Engaging and influencing at all levels of an organisation whilst projecting credibility and selfassurance.
Ensuring alignment with government and/or industry objectives and standards, proactively reviewing and assuring security risk, seeking improvement, and highlighting nonconformance.
Commissioning and undertaking regular inventory and audit of communications and communication security equipment, as well as running security tasks.
