Overview
We are currently recruiting for an HR Officer to join a growing business for an initial 10 month contract basis.
Due to an internal secondment this opportunity has been created:
Working on a hybrid basis 2/3 office and home split The role will not only deal with employee wellbeing and administration-centred activities, but also support in the formulation of the people strategy and planning.
- Act as the principal point of contact for all general HR queries.
- Support the HR Team in the achievement of key priorities and objectives.
- Support the team in the delivery of its objectives demonstrating a ‘can do’ attitude and adopting a flexible and resourceful approach.
- Undertake all responsibilities with due regard to policies and practices including Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and Environmental.
- Lead and participate in relevant projects that support the delivery of the HR Strategy.
Essential Functions
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage staff relationships, responding to any queries that they have and manage their expectations.
- Be the source of information/advice on employment law matters, first point of contact for managers’ queries and escalate to the HR Manager as necessary.
- Lead and support on Employee Relations issues, including absence reviews, performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases.
- Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensure these are in line with current legislation
- Ensure HR data integrity in all HR systems including SAP, Success Factors and monitor/report key HR metrics, such as turnover, retention rates, absence rates etc.
- Manage the full Employee Lifecycle including:
o Key contact for payroll across Product Supply
o Induction plans and onboarding
o Probation process, stay and exit interviews & insights
o Maintain employee records in SAP and personnel files
o Manage the leaver process
- Support the HR team with global and regional HR Projects and annual HR programmes such as Compensation Planning, Talent Management and Bonus Scheme.
- Prepare monthly HR dashboard and analytics including headcount and ad hoc management reports.
- Play a key part in our recruitment and selection strategies e.g. support talent selection process.
Education
Proficient in MS Office, preferably advanced with Excel

Experience
- Strong HR administration experience working within a fast-paced business environment.
- Learning agility.
- Attention to detail and committed to quality.
- The ability to communicate with and build strong relationships with stakeholders in HR and across the organisation.
- Drive to find a better way and improve HR processes.
- Have the ability to prioritise workloads
- Knowledge of HR policy and employment legislation.
- The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
