Overview
We are looking for a parttime Housekeeping Assistant to join our hardworking team on the Isle of Wight.
You will be working in our buildings at the St.
Mary’s Hospital site in Newport, where we provide accommodation for key workers, NHS staff and visitors.
The shift pattern for this role covers 17.
5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday, 9am12
30pm.
You’ll also work with the whole housekeeping team to cover weekends and bank holidays, working 1 hour on a Saturday and Sunday or Bank Holiday on a rota basis.
This is a great opportunity to fit your work around other commitments that you might have.
You’ll be
Keeping entrances, communal areas, hallways and outdoor areas clean and tidy on a daily basisDeep cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens to a high standardLogging maintenance and health and safety issues to help keep our properties safe and secure We’re looking for
Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, ideally from sharedaccommodation sitesExcellent customer skills, someone who is happy to chat to our residents and answer their questionsGreat attention to detail, taking care to provide a high quality serviceSomeone who enjoys working as part of a teamA good level of physical fitness we have 4 storey accommodation blocks at this site What you’ll get from us
