We are seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support people receiving inpatient mental health care, helping individuals on their journey towards recovery and independence.

Salary: £27,617 per annum
Location: Norfolk
Hours: 39.38 hours per week, full-time
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a specialist inpatient mental health service supporting adults with a range of mental health and complex care needs. Working alongside experienced healthcare professionals, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care within a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the delivery of individual care plans under the direction of qualified nursing staff
Assisting individuals with personal care and daily living activities where required
Observing and monitoring physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
Reporting and documenting any changes in a person’s presentation or behaviour
Providing therapeutic support and meaningful engagement activities
Escorting patients on leave and supporting community-based activities where appropriate
Assisting with de-escalation and positive behaviour support following training
Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent care
Maintaining ward cleanliness and adhering to infection prevention and control procedures
Supporting stock management and general ward operations
Providing a warm, welcoming, and professional experience for patients, visitors, relatives, and carers
