Head of Software Development £80,000 £90,000 London Our client is a StartUp who are taking Customer Analytics segment by storm, due to this they are now at a point where they are looking to expand their team and have asked us to invite applications for the position of Head of Software Development.
They are looking to hire a Head of Software Development to manage a small team of developers.
Your main role will be to coordinate all software development of the company tech stack.
You will be expected to have had a proven track record of leading agile development software projects working to, at times, tight deadlines.
One of the key functions of the role will be to take a brief from other business pillars and alongside the technical architect and CTO translate those functions into actionable code and actions.
You will then be expected to ensure consistent, accurate delivery against agreed priorities.
As a key part of the senior tech team, you will be encouraged to provide feedback and innovation across all elements of the tech stack, as part of our continuous improvement plan.
You will also be responsible for making sure all code is written using industry best practices in terms of usability, security, and testing.
Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively in English verbal and writtenExperience in leading development teams using Agile Development Methodologies.
Strong experience of automated code testing and providing a quality product.
Knowledge of Modern /Cloud TechnologiesStrong knowledge of PHP / JavaScriptParticipate in code reviews
