Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Manchester Youth Zone as a Head of Fundraising. This role will suit someone with strong fundraising management skills who is passionate about levelling up opportunities and life chances for children.

Client Details

Manchester Youth Zone, North West Charity of the Year winner 2019, with its amazing dedicated staff team, has been making a difference in the lives of children from a wonderful array of diverse communities of North Manchester for the past 10 years. We are right in the heart of where children need us most and providing quality play and youth work to around 700 children every week; giving them a safe place to go with world class facilities and programmes and an environment to develop strong friendships, supported by skilled youth workers that help them achieve their potential.

Life for children in North Manchester isn’t easy, especially since COVID. Our children have been out of school due to lock down more than any others in 2020/21, poverty levels are high, employment opportunities are low, and it is this environment we see exploitation of children and serious youth violence.

We are at an exciting juncture as we embark on our new 3 year strategy, and our exciting 10th Birthday year, focusing on expanding our offer and the development of impactful new programmes to support the children of North Manchester recovery and thrive after the impact of COVID-19.

Together we really believe we can take on anything.
