Culina Group are recruiting for two new roles within the IT function supporting and leading the Groups two divisions Chilled and Ambient.

The IT Directors will be responsible for the delivery of IT to the Chilled / Ambient Business Units, acting as the single point of contact for IT Services.

Through pro-active leadership and management the ideal candidate work closely with the Group CIO, the other members of the IT Leadership function and key stakeholders on cross functional topics to ensure efficiency within and outside of the team. This is to ensure business and IT alignment and proximity to the business which meets or exceeds business expectations in all aspects, taking into account:

  • Stakeholder Management

  • Service Level Delivery
  • IT Strategy and lifecycle

Job Description

  • Support the business unit in their day-to-day relationship with the IT organisation.
  • Conduct regular service reviews and provide reports to an agreed schedule (or on request), including management and account performance reports.
  • IT budget management and coordination of the respective business units.
  • Working closely along the business to agree an IT roadmap maximizing the value through IT enablement.
  • Ensure delivery of the approved roadmap and management of roadmap changes to ensure best possible time to market.
  • Cross functional project portfolio management.
  • Promote and drive the convergence of business processes and solution platforms
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance business performance through IT solutions
  • Responsible to ensure that the IT function complies with existing laws, regulations, IT governance processes, and internal control.
  • Contribute to the definition and ongoing update of global platform standards to ensure those meet or exceed business unit expectations.
  • Solution design and managing the realization of end to end solutions for the business unit through the IT delivery teams.
  • Regular exchange with the business systems management organization to create alignment with regards to demands, cost and quality.
  • Contribute to the alignment of the IT service delivery with the business strategy and drive the business to utilise competitive advantages through technology, enabling processes for the logistics execution and supply chain domain, formalised in the annual IT roadmap
  • Appropriate risk identification and counter management measures
