Front End Developer £38,000 £45,000 London We are working with a leading UK Charity and they have asked us to invite applications for the position of FrontEnd Developer.
The Charity is driving a period of dynamic digital change and growth.
To support this, a Digital Content & Experiences Centre of Excellence has been developed to step change the impact of digital experiences for their customers.
To this end they are looking for a Front Developer with the following
Essentials
Degree level in Computing, Technology or equivalent training and industry experience.
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS preprocessing platforms such as SASS.
Good understanding of Flexbox, Grid system and other CSS3 properties including animations while being aware of possible browser support issues.
Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, NPM are essential and one of the major frameworks either Angular, React or Vue.
Strong knowledge of asynchronous request handling Ajax, http requests, or similar.
Understanding and building partials and templates Nunjucks, Razor or similar.
Experience in forms validation using JavaScript libraries Parsley.
js or similar.
Good experience and knowledge in using building tools Gulp, Grunt, Webpack or similar.
Strong knowledge of crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Good understanding of web accessibility issues and ability to address them by applying appropriate HTML tags and ARIA attributes.
Desirable Experience in how Front End is integrated and relates with Sitecore, .
NET and MVC we currently use Sitecore 8.
2 but we are moving soon to version 10.
