Overview
SF Recruitment are exclusively working to support an organisation based in Warwickshire that require an experienced Head of Finance to join on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of overseeing multiple or large ledgers experience, ideally be qualified and have previous experience of managing a large finance team.
Further duties of the role are below:
– Maintain and monitor budgets and forecasts, providing guidance and financial oversight to these areas on accuracy of data and costings.
– Ensure that appropriate IT systems are in the place.
– Perform analysis of information and data, both internal and external, to make recommendations
– To line manage the Finance team and to develop staff within the team and the wider Finance Office to flourish and progress their skills and careers.
– To liaise with external bodies and represent at external meetings, including taking part in working parties, user groups and other forums.
– To build on expertise and use skills and knowledge to develop policies and make recommendations.
