I am currently looking for an experienced Accounts or Finance Manager, who can manage a team of 4 Accounts Assistants. The role will be very hands on, and you will be an integral part of the accounts team, and the growth of the business.   • Hours: 08:30am -5:00 Monday – Friday

  • Salary £40,000 – £60,000 depending on skills and experience

What would your day looking like…..

  • Managing a team of four responsible for the complete accounts and administration of the business
  • Company bank account: all incoming and outgoing transactions, daily and weekly reconciliations, cheque signatory and BACS authoriser
  • Monthly and weekly payroll
  • VAT returns, CIS returns and the related payments to HMRC in accordance with their deadlines
  • Journals and reconciliations including wage analysis, supervision, petty cash and credit card
  • Annual completion of P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreement and CITB Levy returns
  • Quarterly management accounts
  • Preparing the accounts to trial balance stage in readiness for the annual audit
