Due to expansion, they are currently looking for an experienced Electromechanical Engineer.

In their technical department, you’ll be responsible for installing, servicing & repairing packaging machinery, both on customers’ sites and sometimes in the workshop.

You’ll need a joined-up approach, using strong knowledge of the machinery and the consumables in order to confidently advise on both, including performing film optimisation work on any type of pallet wrapper.

As an ambassador for the business, you’ll need excellent interpersonal skills and customer service ability, working closely with customers to always leave them happy.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
– To be commercially minded, with an ability to spot opportunities for the company to increase revenue
– Several years’ experience in a similar role and/or fully qualified
– Full driving licence

This role will require daily travel in your company vehicle, mostly in Yorkshire and the Midlands, but they cover the whole of the UK from their head office in Horsforth, Leeds. You can be based anywhere within 100-200 miles of the head office as you will not have to commute regularly, you’ll be mainly working on customers’ sites.
