Field Service Engineer
A leading worldwide provider of advanced automated machinery with a history spanning 100+ years are now looking for an additional Field Service Engineer to join their existing team and to cover the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire region.
Reporting into the Operations Director and based from home, the successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the service and maintenance of advanced automated machinery on client sites throughout the region as well as carry out inspections and complete reports.
The successful individual must be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and be able to demonstrate previous commercial experience of working within a multi-skilled maintenance engineering or field service capacity on automated electro-mechanical machinery such as production, process or packaging machinery utilising PLC’s, SCADA controls, 3 phase inverters, motors, power supplies and instrumentation.
Consideration will be given to individuals with a Royal Navy background who can demonstrate experience of working on a variety of electro-mechanical based plant.
This position is offering a basic salary in the region of £30,000 – £34,000 + tax free allowances + overtime = OTE = £40k – £45k + company van, tablet, mobile phone, 23 days holiday + bank, company pension scheme, life assurance and full workwear provided.
