THE ROLE
Reporting into the Senior Fashion Editor, this role sits within the Fashion Team who form part of the wider Marketing department. The Fashion Team create and oversee fashion styling content for all customer touchpoints including Social, Homepage, Brand Partnerships, Marketing projects, Video and PR. They work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Social and Creative teams, as well as Creative Operations.
The Fashion Sample Coordinator will be responsible for processing and tracking all product samples as they move in and out of the Fashion Team. They will work closely with the buying teams to ensure product samples are managed effectively and the Fashion Team have access to all key sample information to ensure the best customer experience.
What you’ll be doing…
Work with the Integrated Producer to plan all retail product hand over dates, and booking meeting rooms
Effectively manage samples coming in and out of the Fashion Studio
Supporting the business with the Warehouse orders and keeping the track on all samples and returns.
Track all samples by locating any missing received samples
Pack and organize samples to return to the appropriate departments
Deal with ad hoc sample requests from other departments
Organise commercial documents on the fashion team server
Manage the Fashion Studio, ensuring it is organised at all times & prepped for all shoot pre-production. As well as organising kit bags, booking couriers, packing & unpacking suitcases for shoots. Organise samples by month and general housekeeping.
When required, assist the team on set by steaming and preparing all samples for photo-shoots
Support the fashion team when prepping for trips abroad by managing carnet process
Source specific samples required by Fashion Editors for shoots
Assisting with general fashion team administration and housekeeping such as spreadsheets, pre-production packs etc.
Support on any adhoc requests from the Fashion Team such as compiling mood boards/ research/ brainstorms
Support and work closely with the Fashion Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the team.
Develop great relationships with Commercial Buyer’s Assistants
We’d love to meet someone with…
Previous experience working in the fashion industry
Good Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Great verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to prioritise, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent organisational skills
Self-motivated, pro-active and professional
A collaborating working style, enjoys achieving and working as part of a team
