Overview

Our client is a market leader in the design and manufacture of world leading renewable energy systems.
Due to their continued success, they require a Facilities Engineer for the West Sussex site.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be required to support and be part of the Facilities team and take ownership of businesscritical facilities.
 To ensure infrastructure, utilities and facilities are provided reliably and safely to all stakeholders across the across the Horsham site, travel to other sites when requested.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee site repairs and ensure maintenance is carried out in a timely and safe mannerEnsure all TPM activities eg compressors, chillers, gas detections, HVAC, utilities supply, all critical equipment are up to dateEnsure that contractors are performing against Quotation, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Own packages of work to deliver improvement to existing and new facilities equipmentIdentify areas for continuous improvement in performance, cost and reliabilityWork with KPI’s such as MTBF and MTTR for all key systemsCarry out installations to electrical and mechanical systems when suitableWillingness to work outside the normal working hours as emergencies and operational needs dictate.
The CandidateFacilities maintenance experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environmentMechanical Fault finding hands on and analytical and root cause analysisComputer literacyElectrical and/or Mechanical awareness and understandingExperience with TPM and a KPI driven environmentExperience of working with HVAC, BMS, Compressors, clean rooms etcIoSHH trained or similarChampions a safety culture and always leads by example for safe workingUnderstand the business objectives and ensures work is carried out in line with themProactive, selfstarting, open to new ideas and new directionsTeam player, establishes strong collaborative approach across all stakeholdersRolemodels and champions company values and processes in all situationsExcellent time management, reliable and dependable.
