The Company & The Role:

Our client is a diversified, global, alternative asset manager who is looking for a pro-active, personable EA with industry experience to support the COO, General Counsel and other team members. The role requires the ability to deal with competing priorities and a positive attitude. You will be working with other EAs in the team to seamlessly provide support as required. The company operates internationally and so the ability to manage diaries and multiple time zones is key, along with organising travel and other duties as required.

Responsibilities:

Business:

  • Cover all normal EA duties, including correspondence and email management, diary management, travel and logistics etc, performed seamlessly and to a high standard
  • Provide strong support and collaboration with the executive to ensure their daily, weekly and longer-term goals are met and serviced
  • Maintain a good understanding of the business and all existing projects to ensure that you are proactively supporting and pre-empting needs
  • High standard of relationship management across the business, investors and portfolio companies
  • Specific attention to detail and accuracy as well as having a high-level view on everything to enable you to pick up on nuances
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills and good understanding of tech
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude
  • Ability to grasp the urgency of situations naturally, to prioritise and behave proactively
  • Remain agile and flexible to change and react swiftly and professionally
  • Make considered efficiency and workflow suggestions and improvements
  • Fast communication across various mediums; WhatsApp, Email, Telephone etc.
  • Working closely with other EAs in the New York and Bangalore offices

Requirements:

  • Outstanding calendar management experience
  • Flexibility to support out of hours as required
  • High attention to detail
  • Will have excellent personal and business skills, including knowledge of office procedures and business etiquette
  • A professional and energetic personality
  • Strong integrity
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Creativity to think outside of the box and bring new ideas and the latest solutions to different aspects of the role
  • Resilience and problem-solving skills and able to see opportunities
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of confidential information
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to deal with a fast-paced changing workload
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Testing will be required for this role
