Spire Leeds Hospital has an opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our team. You will be play an integral role in managing the overall maintenance and safety compliance of the hospital.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the overall safety and compliance of the hospital.
- Management of electrical maintenance system.
- Line management responsibility for two senior engineers and an additional engineering manager.
- Conduct electro-mechanical maintenance of hospital equipment and carry out safety checks.
- Hold responsibility for managing all contractors on site and over-seeing projects.
- Ensure full estate compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the hospital porter team and ensure delivering effective service.
- Designated Fire Safety Officer on site.
Who we’re looking for:
- Previous engineering experience in a hospital environment.
- Previous line management experience.
- Working knowledge of BMS systems and electro-mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of listed building status is desirable.
- Good knowledge of theatre air handling, hospital plant and/or endoscopy washers is desirable.
