Driver – HGV Class 1
Do you have experience working with in Logistics or have you worked in the Automotive industry before? Are you a driven, enthusiastic and motivated individual? Can you deliver world class customer service?
If the answer is yes to the above then we want to hear from you! Our Vehicle Preparation Centre at Swanley near St Albans is looking to recruit a Class 1 HGV Driver to assist with the delivery of vehicles around the Group 1 centres.
About the position
The successful candidate for our Class 1 HGV Driver vacancy will have previous experience in a similar role and proven customer service skills.
You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the Class 1 HGV Driver position involves:
- Collection and delivery vehicles from customers homes or work premises, ensuring collection and / or completion of all paperwork required.
- Delivery of vehicles to Dealerships
- Maintain systems and procedures in line with department operating standards and utilise them appropriately.
- Complete any relevant documentation with the customer where necessary.
- Display an enthusiastic, motivated and committed approach to work
- To control the movement and security of all vehicles on site
- To maintain accurate and true records at all times when releasing or receiving vehicles
About our requirements
We expect our Class 1 HGV Driver to demonstrate some skills that will prove very beneficial in the position, including:
- Customer awareness.
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Confident and professional communication skills.
- Full driving license – Class 1 driving license .
