Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive
Location: Manchester City Centre

As the largest company in its sector, we are looking to expand our digital team with a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive. Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, the candidate will work with internal and external teams to drive the businesses digital agenda and contribute to the strategy and direction of the 60+ websites within the portfolio.

This is a fantastic time to join a growing digital marketing team that will lead its sector. A key department within the wider group marketing team which works closely together to ensure everyone meets their targets and objectives.

Main Responsibilities: 

Websites

  • Manage/write content, landing pages & campaigns CTAs
  • Conducting A/B tests to improve our sites conversion rate
  • Improve SEO performance of our sites by using knowledge of Technical, On-page & off page SEO
  • Advise other team members on SEO best practices
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager with tracking, analysis and reports on web performance KPIs
  • Plan, build and optimise new web pages within CMS
  • Manage website change requests
  • Contribute ideas for functionality that will improve our websites.

Social

  • Support the wider marketing team with social campaigns and content requirements
  • Take ownership of reporting and measurement of the social platforms
  • Ensure the business is utilising its product inventory as content for social and web.
  • Support the team using the social media management tool.

Online advertising

  • Review and test different creatives to improve engagement and CTRs
  • Support Paid Media Manager in creating new ad campaigns and messaging
  • Work with marketing teams to offer advice on campaign support through online advertising
  • Alongside the Paid Media Manager, review spend, performance and make necessary recommendations.

Skills & experience required:

  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Proven work experience as a Digital Marketeer.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust strategy to suit and integrate a wide range of technology/marketing platforms.
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in analytical tools including Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • An acute eye for detail.
  • Strong commercial awareness and trading focus.
  • Able to manage time effectively, work remotely and to prioritise actions.
