Overview
We’re looking for a talented Design Manager to work for an advanced engineering company in Manchester.
They want to recruit someone with experience of managing multidisciplined technical teams incorporating Mechanical Design, Electrical Design and Software Engineers.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Design Manager will be responsible for the design and delivery of innovative automation solutions for a range of customers within the industrial automation sector.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this Design Manager role will have relevant management and mentoring skills as well as experience in the conceptual design of complex machinery within an automation or special purpose machinery environment.
The Design Manager will be able to support Sales in reaching the best technical solution for the customer, they will lead design reviews and ensure conformity to CE and UKCA marking legislation.
